My Story:

I am the Director of the National Paideia Center, a school reform organization that works with schools around the world, based on the Paideia Philosophy, as articulated by Mortimer Adler in the 1980s. Part of the Paideia Program is the belief that schooling should prepare all students to become citizens of the nation and the world.

My Ideal School is a Place Where:

All students are actively engaged in a thought-provoking, active education and all adults are actively engaged in rigorous, lifelong learning.

I am a social liberal and fiscal conservative.
