What did you learn in your high school years that made you who you are today?

I've actually been talking to Danielle, she's in charge of the Center for Civil Education and I will be attending a Project Citizen workshop on the 24th.
Were hosting a meeting with California's Lt. Governor on the 14th, and I was wondering if you had any ideas that would be help make a good impression on the California Government. We will also have the Head Assemblyman for Education there. We currently have the short film, Louder than a Bomb, being arranged to be played..and then a fishball conversation with a cross-section of students. Do you have any other ideas?
Fyi: I plan on being in Dc in Jan from the 17-21st, if your free, I would enjoy sitting down and discussing ideas.
Take a few minutes to see what the Network (and our companion site, www.fivefreedoms.org) have to offer by way of resources and ideas, and let me know how CCE's work can be featured more prominently here. Clearly, our organizations have the same goals in mind. Post a comment on my page anytime with questions and ideas.
