- My Story:
- I have been in education for the last 21 years, primarily in the high school setting. I am a social studies teacher by trade, but I have had the opportunity to teach math, be a counselor, lead the student union as well as be an athletic director and assistant principal. I became a principal in January of 2008. It has been an exhilarating experience not only because of the responsibility it entails but because it is the first time I have been in the elementary setting. As a former coach, I always like to coach the varsity squad because I could see the students as they ended their careers with me, but I must say it is much more satisfying to know I can help to mold someone from the start of their career.

The next step for you is to join the National Fellows Group. That's where you can see the others on the Network who will be joining you in DC in July. just click on the "National Fellows Group" title and then on the "Join" option, and you're in!
