Is Service Learning *evidence-based* in terms of results or "legitimacy?"
What sort of resources or documentation can I use to promote Service Learning as a viable option for our after-school curriculum?
Thanks!

The Complete Guide to Service-Learning by Kathryn Berger Kaye is also a valuable resource that may be able to answer some of your questions. It might not be exactly what you are looking for, but it has positive information (like the electronic materials and binder from the National Center for Learning and Citizenship provided as part of the Jackson training) that may help you "make the case" for service-learning.

Thank you Kim, it's good to have any and all resources to the propositional arsenal, so to speak!

I attended a Search Institute workshop recently. I was excited to find out that Service Learning figures prominently in the 40 Developmental Assets philosophy.

Our After-School program here at Attention Homes has been evolving. We have a new Program Coordinator, and things are looking good. We want Service Learning to become an integral part of our program. Any feedback on how everyone else is doing would be appreciated!
